Your Privacy is Important to Us

Global Critique Panel India, commonly known as Global Critique Service Private Limited (“Global Critique Service Private Limited,” “we,” or “us”), is a Private Limited company with its registered office at Sector – 5, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110059, and is part of the Global Critique Service Private Limited Worldwide Group of Companies.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information (“Panelist,” “you,” or “your”) when you join the Global Critique Panel online panel (“Panel”), participate in surveys, or use the Panelist website.

1. Why We Collect Information from You

The primary reason we collect your information is to conduct market research. When you join our Panel, we enter into a contract with you, which is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

To fulfill this contract—such as inviting you to suitable surveys—we must collect and process information provided during your registration, any updates made to your profile, or other data collected as described in this Privacy Policy. We also use this information to deliver rewards and to contact you regarding surveys or Panel activities.

Additionally, with your consent, we may collect data when you voluntarily respond to surveys. Some surveys may request your explicit consent for sensitive topics where required.

We also collect limited device information based on your Cookie consent (see Sections 5 & 6) for statistical analysis, quality control, fraud prevention, and system security.

During your membership, we may automatically collect device data to protect our business interests, those of our partners or clients, and to maintain data integrity.

2. What Personal Data Do We Collect About You?

We collect personal data that you provide during registration, by email, or while completing surveys. If registration is not completed, we retain only minimal data to prevent fraud.

You may also voluntarily provide data when submitting feedback, comments, or other input on the Panelist website.

Categories of personal data collected include:

  • Identification Data: Name, age, date of birth, gender, etc.

  • Contact Data: Phone number, email address, postal address, etc.

  • Financial Data: Annual income, tax status, or similar information.

  • Professional Data: Occupation, qualifications, education, or awards.

  • Device & Internet Data: IP address, location, hardware/software details, browser type, and advertising IDs (see Sections 5 & 6).

  • Media Data: Photos, videos, or audio recordings (when applicable).

  • Sensitive Data: Race/ethnicity, political or religious beliefs, health, genetics, or sexual orientation (only collected with explicit consent).

Survey responses may include personal opinions, habits, and preferences. Participation in such questions is voluntary and includes “Prefer not to answer” options.

We also collect limited technical data (IP address, browser settings, OS type, etc.) for verification and fraud protection.


3. How Will We Use the Information About You?

We use your data to:

  • Fulfill our contractual obligations and maintain Panelist records.

  • Send invitations for surveys that match your profile.

  • Verify your account through SMS (shared with our trusted service provider).

  • Implement fraud prevention and security checks using device data.

  • Append demographic data (e.g., occupation, region) for research analysis.

  • Enter you in eligible prize draws and reward programs.

  • With your explicit consent, share anonymized responses with clients for research purposes.

  • Contact you for additional research or partner surveys (only with consent).

  • Send newsletters, updates, or system notifications.

  • Deliver test products (if you participate in product testing).

  • Manage invitations for other household members (with parental consent for minors).

  • Detect webcam devices for specific survey requirements.

  • Share data securely with approved subcontractors or affiliates under strict confidentiality and international data-transfer compliance.

We ensure your personal data is accurate, relevant, and not excessive. Your data will never be sold, used for marketing, or disclosed to third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.


4. Children

If you indicate children under 18 in your household, we may invite them for specific research only after receiving verified consent from a parent or legal guardian.


5. Use of Cookies and Similar Code

By joining our Panel, you consent to our use of Cookies and similar technologies for research purposes. Cookies are small text files that collect anonymous information to improve functionality, analyze usage, and enhance user experience.

6. Use of Digital Fingerprinting, Device Data, and Other Information

We collect limited technical data (e.g., IP address, display settings, OS type) to generate a secure, digital fingerprint. This fingerprint helps prevent duplicate participation and fraudulent activity.

This process does not link to your personal identity and is used solely for fraud prevention, security, and data validation.

Your mobile device ID may also be used to identify duplicate memberships or referral-based entries.


7. How Long Will We Keep the Information You Provide?

  • We retain your profile data as long as you are an active Panelist.

  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (or within 7 days if you request removal).

  • Reward redemption data may be retained for up to 2 years.

  • Contest entry data may be retained for up to 3 years.

  • “Do not contact” requests will be honored permanently with minimal retention.

Survey responses are pseudonymized and anonymized within 12 months after completion. Device data shared with third parties will not be stored beyond 180 days.


8. How Do We Ensure Your Personal Information Is Secure?

We apply strict data protection measures, including:

  • Physical security of offices.

  • Controlled access to computer systems.

  • Encrypted data transfers and secure servers.

Global Critique Service Private Limited conducts regular internal and external audits and is certified to comply with ISO 27001 standards for information security.


9. Automated Individual Decision-Making, Including Profiling

Some automated processes (e.g., survey selection, incentive calculation, or fraud detection) may apply.
If any decision affecting you is made automatically, you have the right to request human review, explanation, and reconsideration.

10. Access, Correction, Transfer, Deletion, and Complaints

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate data.

  • Request transfer to another party.

  • Request deletion of your information.

11. State Legislative Requirements

  • Deletion of specific personal information.

  • Disclosure of data categories, sources, and sharing practices.

  • Opt-out of data sales (we do not sell personal data).

We will never discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.


12. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We regularly review and update this Privacy Policy. Updates will appear on this page, and major changes will be communicated by email or upon your next login.
